Joy.

hey-O.

throw a leg up ya'll.
say what?

Looky Looky I'm on a roll.
Bloggin' it up yo.
Wave your hands in the ah-yah.

God has been preparing my heart for change.
Preparation.
In the midst of seeking the Lord's plan
I found myself looking at Lindsay.
I make plans for my life, how I'm going to succeed at this or that and what I want for myself.
Look at all those I's.
hmmmm.
Um, guys I don't want to just look at me through me.
Not always so cute if ya know what I mean.

When it really comes down to it, Christ gives us answers, He leads us. His will for our lives is better than what we want for our lives. Why?
He is our ultimate Provider;  We were created to give Him glory.
Why would we want to give up a great joy in following Him?

You make known to me the path of life;

in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,

Dig in. Go to the Word. Go back. Meditate on the Love of the Father.
So many things happening in the world right now.
Hurting people who need to be reminded in the good.

"Sorrow may last for the night but [my] JOY comes in the morning"

Psalm 30:5

Time to get our eyes off self and onto others.

Give.
Sow Mercy.
Sow Love.

What better time than now friends?

28.

I've become a quarterly blogger I do believe. (to Audrey's dismay)

In the mean time.......

{Here is some of my heart}

Father you are SO good. My heart is overwhelmed at your hand in every area of my life. Tomorrow that will mark 28 years. Wild. I'm so thankful. Words can't even begin to form onto this page the mighty work you have done in me. Even more so what you continue to do. You are so real to me Lord. Anyone who knows me or has ever spent time with me knows this, I'm animated and I'm passionate about being passionate.
(God chose expressive people, so like that)
Life before you meant things of this world. Misplaced passion that looms to an empty void life. Oh believe me I found that. But Oh the love of the Savior.

You picked me up.
Made me new.
Breathed new life.
And set me free.

You O Lord are my passion.

Life with you is my favorite.

Marching.

Dear fre-unds.
Have I been a blog slacker  or what?
Don't judge.
I have so much on my heart.
The Lord is doing mighty things and really at this time it's not much of a blogging season for me.
Be ok with that. I am.
(most days)

Busy girl. Learning to organize my life.

PTL I don't have to do it alone.
Mkay.
Updates.
Ready go.
Moved into a new house. Got a new job. Hay turns six. Ky has to teach me his math. Family pup had 8 puppies. Best friends purchased their first home. Sister in college. Brother growing dreads. Sister in pre-school. New friends. Old friends. Prayer times. Road trips. Crafting.
Running. Running. Running.

Life is exciting.
I do exactly what I'm supposed to do at exactly the right place, at the right time.

That's my truth.
As I am growing in my relationship with the Father I see He just wants to love me, to surprise me, to woo me. He loves nothing more than for me to discover something He has done for me and be completely captivated and in awe of His goodness.

He delights for us to delight in HIM.
(chew on that)

Those times I try to make things more difficult..
I just rest in knowing He already has me covered.
His plan is perfect.

25) At that time Jesus declared, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children;
26) yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.
27) All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28) Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

The Lord helps me more than I know.

I'm learning this clearly in a season of change.

So blessed. So thankful. So inspired.

(Know what I've been craving? Long Drives. Hiking. Mountains. Road Trips.)
oh and sushi. #mybirthdayiscomingup.

ps. check out this XXXL Sweatshirt and Sock boots. oh and yesterdays make-up. whammy.

For you are a chosen [woman], you are a royal priest, a holy [daughter]. God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Agape.

1 Corinthians 13.
Let us put into practice what it truly means.
(buy me flowers for no particular reason)
Holy. Perfect. Wholehearted Love.
"When the presence of God grows in your life, you walk into rooms
and the atmosphere changes. All through Love."

One loses count after like 3. Hey-O.

Ate. Napped. Crafted. Read. & Spent sweet time with some precious friends.

That's how I roll.

Let me show you a new fav.

Oh Em Gee.

I'm trying out these Egg Beaters....

(makes me feel healthier, don't judge)

Spinach. Garlic. Onion. Egg Beat-ah.

Wah-La.

I'm a fan. My other usual is peanut butter DUH.
However...
It's good to shake up your routine sometimes.
Ya dig?

After this week I've just been so completely inspired.
I really am. During a Biore strip sesh today I was thanking the Lord for His peace.

I've been laughing and smiling more than I have since I was a little girl.

"Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces."
Psalm 34.5
(thanks Cort)

God has shown Himself so clearly to me.
His LOVE.
Real love.
1 Corinthians 13 style.

Soon enough my husband will come.
But right now, in this season, I'm going to envelop myself in the love of my Savior.

His timing is perfect.

Trusting.
Resting.

"but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing."

whew.
The pastor I have the honor of being under, my precious family, the friendships i've cultivated... this year, my life, has much in store.
He has the best plan.
Already such a a year. New job, New friends (the forever kind)
More reading, hiking, thrifting, crafting...
But, above all else I'm hoping to know and love my Creator more.
Knowing that trusting in Him, all things will fall into place.

These are a few of my favorite things.

It all started on Super Bowl night.
My new friend Lauren...
While snacking on some Litehouse Homestyle gluten-free dip she recommended, a laugh or 35, AND figuring out we both have alot of similar interests... #Godisgood.
I laughed about about us having a show called...

"Better Living"

(it's the Lord, i'm tellin ya)

Here's our rhema:

"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Virtuous Women. Supernaturally Living. Kingdom Minded. Loving Jesus. Loving People. Growing In Spirit. In Faith. In Health. In Fashion. Always in the Right Place at the Right Time.
Makin' God Look Good.
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be
